Dear Client,

Animal Kingdom would like to inform you of our Appointment Cancellation Policy, effective September 13th, 2021. This policy has been established in order to provide the highest level of veterinary care to all of our patients.

Due to the demand for requested veterinary care, and our desire to accommodate all of our patients in a timely manner, we are providing this notice. We appreciate your attention to this matter.

When we have a patient that does not show up for their scheduled appointment, it creates an unused appointment slot that could have been used for another sick or injured pet.

Therefore, it is important that you contact us within 48 hours of your scheduled appointment if you need to cancel. That way we have some time to call someone that may be on our waiting list to have their pet scheduled to be seen within that timeframe.

New Clients: New clients will be charged a $25 fee for a missed or no-show initial appointment. This fee must be paid prior to rescheduling a subsequent appointment.

Existing Clients: An established client that fails to cancel their appointment within the 48 hour time period or who fails to show for their appointment will be assessed a $25 fee which must be paid upon the next visit or prior to any medication refill.

We understand that there may be times when an unforeseen emergency takes place, and you may not be able to keep your scheduled appointment. You may contact Animal Kingdom Veterinary Hospital through phone, text, or leave us a voicemail if it is after hours.

Animal Kingdom Veterinary Hospital does make courtesy appointment reminders through phone calls and text messages when time allows. *If you do not receive a reminder call or text, the above policy remains in effect.*
